Overall, it was a great choice for an airport hotel with good service and comfortable accommodations. Check-in was smooth and efficient with 24-hour reception staff. They even asked if we had a room preference with a view and accommodated our request, which was a nice touch. The room was clean, spacious enough for two people with three suitcases, and had a well-designed bathroom. The beds were comfortable, and the AC allowed us to set the room temperature to our preference, ensuring a good night’s sleep. Breakfast was not included in our booking, but we were offered a discounted rate at check-in, which was a nice perk. The buffet had a wide selection of food, typical of a hotel of this standard. We didn’t use the bar, restaurant, or other facilities. The location is very close to the airport, just one train stop away, followed by a short 5-minute walk from the station to the hotel. However, since we were tired after our flight, we opted for an Uber, which cost €22. Check-out was quick and hassle-free. The standard check-out time was 11 AM, but due to a delay in collecting our rental car, we ended up leaving around 11:45 AM with no extra charge, which we appreciated. Overall, it’s a solid option for a one-night airport stay. While there are hotels even closer to the airport, if you don’t mind a short Uber/taxi ride or a quick train journey, Novotel Amsterdam Schiphol Airport is a great choice for a comfortable and well-managed stay.

It is a walk away from the Hordroft train and bus station, making it accessible to Amsterdam 24/7. I love the how clean and green environment friendly of the hotel, but the number one bonus is the attentive staff and housekeeping. The two Filipino staff members taught us how to get to the train station and use public transportation around the hotel. This information helped us navigate our trip to Amsterdam. There is also a convenience store inside that sells snacks, candies, and drinks for the guests to use, and it is reasonably priced. I highly recommend this hotel. The service is up and beyond, the hotel is clean, and the location is convenient.

We were upgraded to an Executive Room because it happened to be free, so we had a great view. It was a 2 min walk from the train station, which took us to the city centre in 20 mins. There was a cute little chaise long in the room. The hotel was beautiful with an excellent lobby. They have a small basic coffee machine in room. There are two bus stops in between the airport and this hotel on a dedicated bus road, so getting to the hotel is very easy. Swipe your credit or debit card when you enter the bus and again when you exit. Each rider will need a different card. The convenience and cleanliness of this hotel makes it a great place to stay for transiting at Schilpol.
